 About Us

Someday Ranch is owned and operated by Ray & Chantel Tieman, and their children.

The ranch is located in the heart of Knightsen, between Oakley & Brentwood, in California. Someday Ranch has one of the best views of Mt. Diablo around. The ranch sits at the end of  a private lane, surrounded by large fields allowing  lessons  to stay  quiet and private at all times. Someday Ranch is a private ranch, our gate is kept closed and locked at all times, which contains the flow of traffic and horses during training and schooling sessions. All lessons and visits are by appointments only. Students and clients enjoy their privacy here as they spend time riding in our arenas. The ranch is known best for all the events, camps and lessons designed for children and special needs students, and  offers a full range of services.

Someday Ranch  offers lessons for adults earlier in the day and in the evenings. Problem solving lessons with a rider and their horse, are available by appointment also. There are also limited spots available for Mom & me or Dad & me riding lessons. We  offer special  lessons tailored for "first time horse owners". Let us help you, no matter what your Equine need is.

Our instructors offer lessons tailored to your needs, no matter what your riding ability is. Just starting up and wanting to have some fun, or a serious rider wanting to polish up before a show or round up, our instructors can help! At Someday Ranch you will be greeted by only true Cowboys & Cowgirls. These Wranglers spend their days tending to their horses, cattle and ranch. They especially enjoy teaching the public how to become a Cowboy or Cowgirl, and share in their lifestyle.

The ranch offers several different programs besides riding lessons, to become more acquainted with horses and the lifestyle. We also offer field trips, camps, clinics, parties and more. Lessons are taught on our schooling horses or yours. The ranch horses work with children on a daily basis, you could not ask for better horses to start on or to just clean up your riding skills.

We offer limited and private boarding here at the ranch. Onsite care and security 24 hours a day, behind a closed gate. Someday Ranch is kept private so boarders and clients may enjoy the peaceful surroundings, without traffic to bother them.  Leave your horse with us, as you head home knowing they are in safe hands.  Allow your horse to be raised and cared for the way a horse should be. Trainers and instructors live onsite to care for your baby!

Safety is very important here at Someday Ranch. Every child 18 years old and under is required to wear a helmet when mounting a horse. There is more to  riding a horse than just grabbing a saddle and jumping on. Take a moment to browse thru our web site to see what we offer, and how Someday Ranch stands out from other ranches .

Someday Ranch can make your dreams of becoming a Cowboy or Cowgirl come true. You do not have to own a horse to Cowboy Up!

Someday Ranch and its family members join together and give back to the community.  Naydeene organized a "Christmas drive" and help put together 43 care boxes to be sent overseas to our soldiers in need. Someday Ranch has held and organized several  "Saddle Up and Ride" trail rides, for St. Judes Children's Hospital. This was the first time this event was held in Brentwood, at Round Valley park. The ranch raised over $4000 dollars for the children, on the very first outing. We also donate yearly to "Grad Night" at Freedom High School and Liberty High School. We collect and donate large bags of toys to  help in the "Christmas Toy Drive" for Knightsen and many other events.  Our Jr. Drill Team put on a performance  for the "East Contra Costa Historical Society", where they were a huge hit! Clients have come together to make and prepare gift boxes for our troops overseas at Christmas. These are just a few ways Someday Ranch has helped  the community.
